SF MODEFA is a three-day charity event that combines live music, an art exhibit, a panel discussion, and a fashion runway show that highlights ethnic cultures.

The Kickoff Party is also a way to celebrate Juneteenth, featuring African American fashion designers and DJ T.C., a live music showcase featuring Rap Artist BLACK JOKERS10, Celebrity, and an African headline band from the Ivory Coast. Being that Abidjan, the capital of Cote d'Ivoire, is a sister city to San Francisco, this is a coalition of cultures that brings both communities together. A special fashion show featuring Bayview-born fashion designer Terrence Silvas and up-and-coming talented crochet master Kiari Lewis.
